The Road To Success

It is frustrating when you want to do something, you can see it in your head but it’s not coming to reality on the first attempt, and even after many attempts.

There are two words I believe are the twin brother or sister to success; they are “patience and consistency”. We need to take those along with us on the road to success and also be of the knowledge that not everyone who is on top of a ladder hasn’t start from the first step and so is the person who wants to succeed will not get there with success after success.

Today we heard of or know of many who succeed in life, we celebrate their success, we use things they had invented every day but overlooked the path that got them there. The journey of failing over and over that so many of us don’t want to hear about and gave up too soon.

Yes, the road to success is often paved with rejection and failure. But the real deal with this journey is:  would you choose to rise above? Would you be patient? Would you persevere until you see total victory and don’t settle for nothing less?

Remember, no one can stop you with God on your side. You can only stop you if you stop. Be encouraged! If you fail today; it is not the end of the road to your success because failure is not failing; failure is telling you, you need more information about it.

So next time you’re feeling down about your failures think about those people who instead of giving up, remain focused on their goals.

  1. Walt Disney.- was fired from the Kansas City Star because his editor felt he “lacked imagination and had no good ideas.”
  2. OprahWinfrey.-was publicly fired from her first TV job as an anchor in Baltimore for getting “too emotionally invested in her stories.”
  3. ColonelHarland David Sanders.- was fired from dozens of jobs before founding KFC. He traveled across the U.S. looking for someone to sell his fried chicken
  4. Thomas Edison.- his teachers told him he was “too stupid to learn anything.”
  5. Sidney Poitier.- first auditioned for the American Negro Theatre, he flubbed his lines and spoke in a heavy Caribbean accent which made the director angrily tell him to stop wasting his time and go get a job as a dishwasher
  6. James Dyson.- while developing his vacuum, he went through 5,126failed prototypes and his savings over 15 years.

Way To Win

Life’s challenge is no joke and whether it’s small or big, it’s hard to deal with. Most of the time, our tendency, when problem arises, is to assess it against our own capacity to overcome. We fight with our own weapon just to see that situation solved.
But there is a better way to win, and not the way of fighting with our own strategies nor with our own resources.

If you really want to win and stay victorious, you must bring the matter to God, you must fight them through prayer; through persistent prayer and with faith in God that He will provide a way of escape. You will be surprised at the results.

Don’t get me wrong,  Sometimes it may seem like you can’t win that battle, but if you trust that God will step in, He will step in and make a way out of the no way you see. He already proved His ability that He can do a-l-l-things by creating the earth and everything that is in it out of n-o-thing.

So entrust Him the situation that you are facing right now. Entrust Him all the doubts, fears, and anxiety, and the panic that comes with it. Let Him be Your guide and protector, and Thee Sole provider. That’s the best way to victory and become more than a conqueror.
